IPM (Five year Integrated program in management by IIM Indore)

The proposed five-year integrated programme in management (IPM) is a unique and creative programme designed to meet the aspirations of young students to become management professionals, change agents and societal leaders.

IPM therefore is a strategic fit in the overall context, vision and mission of IIM, Indore. The five-year integrated programme in management is aimed at students who have passed out class XII / Higher Secondary or equivalent from various schools in India. The five-year integrated residential programme is a unique opportunity for the Institute to make a contribution. It is also an exciting option for the young boys and girls to charter their profession in the area of management with a wider scholarly academic background in the social sciences setting.

Eligibility criteria for this programme are 60% aggregate marks at Secondary/X Std / Equivalent and at Higher Secondary / XII / +2 level / Equivalent for General and NC-OBC category candidates (55% aggregate marks at Secondary/X Std / Equivalent and at Higher Secondary /XII / +2 level / Equivalent for SC, ST and PWD / DA candidates). All candidates meeting the minimum eligibility mentioned above will be called for Aptitude Test. Shortlist for Personal Interview would be based on their performance in Aptitude Test. Final selection would be based on their performance in Aptitude Test (AT) and Personal Interview (PI). Government of India reservation norms would be followed while admitting the candidates.

To get admission to the Symbiosis group of Institutes for their UG courses, Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common written test for the admission. All these institutes fall under the Symbiosis International University.

The SET is a mandatory written test for the admission process for almost all the undergraduate programmes of group. However, SET is only the first step. Each Symbiosis institute has its independent selection process. SET had 5 different papers namely.

The test was conducted in two sessions, Morning and Afternoon. A candidate could have taken more than one paper. However, he could choose only one paper from the morning sessions and one paper from the afternoon session.

The Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT) is conducted at National and International level for admissions to University-approved Bachelor Programs such as BBA, BCA, BHM, etc. by AIMA. AIMA undertakes a host of management related activities and initiatives such as Distance Management Education, Management Development Programmes, Special Conferences, Research & Publications, Testing Services and Competitions.


The minimum qualification is 10 + 2 or equivalent from a recognized board. Students appearing/ appeared in 10+2 can also apply.

Mode of Applying

Candidate can choose any ONE of the following modes to apply:

Obtain Form with UGAT Bulletin against cash payment of Rs. 500 from listed branches of Bank of Baroda, listed study centers of AIMA or from AIMA, lodhi Road, New Delhi.

Common Entrance Test (CET) is an all India test conducted by DAW Indore for admission in professional courses offered by various teaching departments of university. All courses are divided in to 3 Test -Groups namely: -

The ASMSOC at NMIMS is one of the youngest schools in the NMIMS Deemed-to be-University's arsenal. It aims at imparting quality undergraduate business / management education following the respected and time-honoured traditions of NMIMS in the field of graduate management education.

  • The candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam including International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB certificate awarded not eligible) in any stream from a recognized Board at first attempt and Must have obtained a minimum of 50% aggregate marks for B.Com (Hons.) Program
  • 60% aggregate marks with passing in mathematics/ statistics as compulsory subject for BBA and B.Sc Finance/Economics program.
  • Candidates who have not cleared the 10+2 or equivalent exam in the first attempt are NOT eligible to apply for the admission to the courses. Candidates who have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam by doing a part-time course or through distance learning/ correspondence/ externally/ open school are NOT eligible to apply for these courses.
  • Candidate has to submit a gap certificate if there is a Gap in the candidate's education
  • Candidates appearing for their final 10+2 or equivalent examination including IB Diploma can also apply but their admission to the courses will be subject to above criterion, obtaining the required minimum cut off marks and also producing all the necessary documents, in original, within the given stipulated time.
  • Those candidates who have passed, or, are appearing for 10+2 or equivalent examination from a Board/University where Grade Point Average is given, such candidates must produce in writing from the Board/University concerned about the equivalent percentage for the GPA obtained.
  • In case of CBSE, ICSE, Online marks mentioned of HSC, total % (aggregate) should be mentioned, not best of four, five or seven.
  • Candidates above 25 years of age are restricted to apply for undergraduate programs.
  • It is sole responsibility of the candidates to ascertain whether they possess the necessary and requisite qualification for the admission to the courses at NMIMS.
  • The NMIMS reserves the right to alter the terms of eligibility without intimation to the applicants.
  • Note (for IB & Cambridge Candidate): Candidates called for admission counseling on the basis of NPAT(UG) merit list & who do not have final mark sheet will be given 'Provisional Admission' based on predicted scores. Fees will be accepted from such candidate but their admission will be confirmed on submission of final mark sheet if found eligible before the commencement of the program.
